Press Release
Muscat, Oman 05 January 2020
Muscat is set to host an exciting event of a grand scale – the first ever Oman Perfumes Show, and see connoisseurs, businesses and entrepreneurs come together under one roof in the trade fair that will be the largest, most innovative, artistic and exclusive in the Sultanate.
To be held from December 3 to 7 at the Oman Exhibition and Convention Centre (OCEC), the Oman Perfumes Show will be the first-of-its-kind and only international trade show for perfumes, beauty products, and health and wellbeing industries ever held in the sultanate.
Organised by Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and Vega Intertrade & Exhibitions LLC, the Oman Perfumes Show will be a platform to recognize, showcase and celebrate independent perfumes and beauty brands, and support the growth and success of entrepreneurs behind these products.
It will feature perfumes (fragrances, colognes, aroma compounds, incense, essential oils and oud), besides cosmetics, skincare products, hair, nail and salon supplies, personal care and hygiene ranges that will also cater to the growing preference for natural and organic choices.
The show is seeing the participation of B2B and B2C exhibitors from across the world thus recognising the significance of Oman as a growing market for perfumes, beauty and wellness products.
From a business perspective, the trade fair will be a promising meeting ground for manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, distributors, dealers, trade bodies, beauty professionals, consultants, trainers, cosmetologists and government agencies. For individuals interested in the latest trends in beauty, health and wellness, and the newest offerings in perfumes, it will be a shopping haven, say organisers.
Oman Perfumes Show coincides with the 10th Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition (MIJEX 2019), also being held at OCEC, which has become the preferred venue for such events.
Commenting on the trade fair, Eng. Said Salim Al Shanfari, CEO, Oman Exhibition and Convention Centre, said, “OCEC provides state-of-the-art venues which cater to all kinds of events. The Centre has been smartly designed to meet the needs of different occasions and events. We are keen to make each and every single event at OCEC unforgettable experience”.
Akavut Tangsilikusinwong, founder/CEO of Vega Intertrade & Exhibitions LLC, said, “We are delighted to create a strong platform for the Omani market to showcase the perfume industry and its latest trends as it will open doors for wholesalers and retailers to work together with world renowned brands”.
