Khawla is the CEO of Injaz Oman, an organization that empowers youth to own their economic success, and a businesswoman with 15 years of corporate work behind her. As a member of Sharaka, Khawla was part of several initiatives to enable Oman’s private sector in playing an active role in the sultanate's social and economic development. She currently sits on several boards including Ominvest, one of the oldest and largest investment companies in the region, OCEC and NBO’s GCC fund. As a youth leader and an advocate of innovation and entrepreneurship, she has taken part in the design and planning of Oman's youth programs during her time as National Youth Commission member, and played an active role representing youths in Tanfeedh, a national program for enhancing economic diversification.
PETER WALICHNOWSKI

Mr. Walichnowski joined Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) as CEO in May
2017.
He has over 35 years of experience in international real estate development, investment and corporate
management in Australia, Europe, North Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Walichnowski has spent 12 years
living and working in the Middle East including seven years as the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Properties
where he led the company’s strategy of developing major retail, hospitality and mixed-use projects
across the MENA region. During this stint, he executed a Development Agreement with the Government of
Oman for the Al Mouj Integrated Tourism Project, the first of its kind in the sultanate. Before working
in the Middle East, Mr. Walichnowski spent 12 years in the UK where he was CEO of Lend Lease Europe and
then the Executive Director responsible for Strategy and Business Development for Land Securities PLC
-UK’s largest listed property group and a FTSE 50 company.
